Swish!! A little wood nymph, named Phoebe, skipped in to see what all the fuss was about! She was dressed in her best fairy outfit, made by Debbie Scales, and had a basket of sweets as she skipped down the run-way to open the parade to the Lions Fashion Awards.

Entrants came from throughout Australia for these Inaugural Awards, which were held on Saturday 5th September, 2009 in Camden. The evening was perfect, the models a delight and the talent of the designers was outstanding.

The Judges were most impressed with the standard of work, creativity and the workmanship of the garments and as always they remarked on the difficulty of choosing the winners are featured in the Photo Gallery

Congratulations to all the winners and many thanks for being a part of the Inaugural Lions Fashion Awards and we do look forward to you joining us again next year.

Without some very special people in the background, at the vital point of the parade, these events would not take place. To all these wonderful helpers, the hair dressers, the makeup artists, the models, the dressers thank you SEW much.
